This is one of the famous and
beautiful beaches in
Sri Lanka is called Kallady Beach. These photos are taken after
Tsunami in Sri Lanka 2004.Now this Sri Lanka kallady beach is developed and maintained by
Batticaloa Municipal Council.The Kallady beach is filled on Poya days(Full Moon days) and on
Public Holidays by public. I can’t say, but I feel the specialty of the
Kallady Beach Sri Lanka when on Full Moon day .

I heard about ,this the best beach in Sri Lanka. One day I got a sea fish from fisher man in this kallady beach for free.

ReplyDeleteI heard about Singing fish .This is spatiality of Batticaloa lagoon . Is there a connection between Kallady beach Batticaloa Lagoon? I can see ,after end the local war there a lot of visitors visit the Kallady Beach also.

DeleteThere is a connection between Kallady beach Sri Lanka and Batticaloa Lagoon because you can go to the beach in two main way ,One is Kallady Bridge which on Batticaloa lagoon.Other one are a land side from Kattankudy.
DeleteAccording to my experience, Public can enjoy until 10pm, in Kallady beach Sri Lanka. This is the rule for security purpose.
ReplyDeleteI have a doubt that why coconut trees are fullness growth in shore area without any care taker? What is the reason for that ? (The coconut trees are quite beautiful in Kallady Beach Sri Lanka.)

DeleteThe Kallady beach Sri Lanka is one of the best enjoyable places in Sri Lanka, There is big crowed seen on Sundays and public holidays,even there is no parking places also on that days.
